The CN Tower is a 553.33 metre (1,815 ft., 5 inch) broadcast and telecommunications tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was the world's tallest freestanding structure from it's construction in 1976 to 2007, when it was exceeded in height by the Burj Dubai building in Dubai. It remains the tallest freestanding structure in the Americas.
