Also, we are currently working with our technical team to establish a system in which we can publicly thank our donors by name at the bottom of each Citizendium page.  The idea is to display a message randomly thanking these generous individuals that will change with each page view in proportion to the amount of their gift (For example, if the total donations that CZ has received was $10,000, an individual that donated $100 could expect to be named on 1% of all page views at that time). 
 
This system will hopefully be up and running sometime in May.  Don't worry&mdash;if you have already given to the Citizendium, your name will be included (unless you don't want to be&mdash;in that case, e-mail Larry Sanger at sanger@citizendium.org with your full name and donation amount).

Here is how to donate:

  • Go to www.paypal.com and click on the Send Money link at the top of the page.
  • In the To: section, enter citizendium@)hotmail.com all in lower case letters
  • In the From: section, enter your email address
  • In the Amount: section, enter the amount of your donation in whatever currency you select from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the Personal tab and select Gift
  • Click on Continue
