About our staff

The Citizendium (*.citizendium.org) is run by a collection of volunteers. Larry Sanger, Jason Potkanski, and one other programmer are the only persons who have yet been compensated for their work on the project, and at present, no one is receiving any compensation for their work.

The Citizendium has been a project of the Tides Center, but is operationally independent. We are currently a non-profit in virtue of the fact that we are legally a Tides project.
