Donald is among one of the most famous Disney characters, next to Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Chip & Dale and others. He first appeared in the animated cartoon The Wise Little Hen on June 9, 1934. Because of his popularity, he was developed into a major character with his own supporting characters, for example his girlfriend Daisy Duck, his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and his uncle Scrooge McDuck.
