Karen Kwiatkowski is a retired Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Air Force, who writes on defense policy from a libertarian standpoint.
Before the Iraq War, she worked in Near East South Asia directorate at the Department of Defense and who , of whom she is critical. "observed firsthand the formation of the Pentagon's Office of Special Plans," wrote that she "had a clear sense that [[Abram Shulsky] ranked high in the organization, although ostensibly he was under William Luti. ...
