The Surrey Guardian was a small fireboat operated on the Fraser River by the Surrey Fire Department in British Columbia from 1968 to 1972.[1][2][3][4] Surrey is part of metropolitan Vancouver and lies between the Fraser River and the U.S. border.

The vessel was not new, having been launched as the Port Fraser in 1963.[5] She was operated by the New Westminster Harbour Commission. Surrey council discussed and rejected the idea of selling the vessel in June of 1970.[6]
