I am Irish and I am a university student studying history in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. I would be very interested in contributing articles relating to Irish history as well as European history. Guiness is one of my closest friends.

My interests include reading, history, football and constanstly watching and re-watching the fantastic TV series 'The West Wing'. I am also very sociable with strong political convictions which would place me on the left of centre economically and strongly Libertarian on personal, moral issues. I strongly, strongly support the legalisation of Ecstasy, a drug criminilised for no apparant reason other than to strengthen the hand of the criminals that provide these generally harmless (In relation to legal drugs such as alcohol) substances.
