I am a linguist specialising in acquisition of second language phonology and comprehension-based language learning. Following a BA in linguistics (Manchester) and an MA in language acquisition (Durham), I lectured part-time at the universities of York and Durham in the UK. Currently I teach linguistics and English at Mie University in Japan.

Getting around and maintaining Citizendium

I make use of the workgroup boxes (see below) to navigate around Citizendium, as well as the links in the left menu. I recommend the 'toolbox', particularly 'Special Pages'. This brings you to a list of things in much need of maintenance, such as uncategorized pages. I've found that people creating inappropriate articles can get their work on the wiki for some time, by not categorising them so they doesn't show up in workgroup lists and other CZ groupings such as 'internal articles'.
