I joined Citizendium in 2007 and have worked all over in this wiki, especially in the Computers workgroup. I formerly served on the governing council, partly because no one else would, but also in hopes that we could somehow save the project. When Citizendium seemed once again about to shut down in 2020 (first year of the COVID-19 era), I decided I wanted to preserve the sense of community that is possible when working in a good wiki such as Citizendium. My interests include computers and technology, mandolin (trad. OT/BG/Irish/American fiddling), languages, reading, Buddhism (esp. the [[Pali Canon), plants and flower gardening.
