Charles Bronson
Charles Dennis Buchinsky (1921–2003), known as Charles Bronson, was an American film and TV actor and the archetypal screen "tough guy". Noted for his rugged features and muscular physique, Bronson usually appeared in Westerns, war films and crime dramas, often as an anti-hero. His trademark persona was the quiet and enigmatic but purposeful character who was always ready for action. In some of his most noted roles, his purpose was vengeance, especially in Once Upon A Time In The West and the Death Wish series.
Sergio Leone described Bronson as the best actor he ever worked with, a testimony to Bronson's professionalism because he had the reputation of always knowing his lines and always being punctual for his scenes. Among Bronson's other movies were The Magnificent Seven, The Dirty Dozen, The Great Escape, Chato's Land, Hard Times, and Breakheart Pass.
