Richard Trefry [r]: Lieutenant general, U.S. Army, retired; Program Director for the Army Force Management School at Ft. Belvoir, VA.; advisory board, Center for Military Readiness; Inspector General of the U.S. Army from 1977 until his retirement in 1983; Military Assistant to President George H.W. Bush and Director of the White House Military Office, from 1990-92; Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Army Personnel from 1975-1976, during which time the decision was made to increase the number of women in the Army from 2% to 10%;responsible staff officer for implementation of the enrollment of women at the United States Military Academy ^[e]
