Riddle [r]: A puzzling statement or question or story which beguiles the mind and causes people to try to solve it by proposing an explanation that makes sense. There is usually a hidden meaning or twist or play upon word meanings which allows a person to decipher the puzzle. The best riddles are simple and when the answer is given, it produces an aha experience described in psychology.
