Boxing history

This article could use a lot of fleshing out. In particular, I have not put a lot about the boxing history. Also, the article would benefit if people would concentrate on what boxing at each time period was like, as boxing changed quite a bit over time because of changes in rules, equipment, and evolution and refinement of technique.
