Talk:Cargo cult

Just a quick throw-away comment here. I know this is taken from Wikipedia and therefore to be expected, but this sentence
- The rapid rise of cargo cults is argued to be a possible account of how mainstream religions get started.
is just egregious. Who argues that? Why not name that person or those people? Stated the way it is, it looks merely like a biased remark against mainstream religions, which (goes the implication) have no more credibility or legitimacy than cargo cults. --Larry Sanger 08:30, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
- Richard Dawkins - as I referenced with that sentence. John Stephenson 08:36, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
Hmm, no great expert either on cargo cults or on religion, Dawkins. --Larry Sanger 08:45, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
