Why I made this page "CZ Live"

The John Steinbeck page on WP has been the object of long-term persistent vandalism. It is unlikely that CZ will benefit from further edits on WP. More likely you will simply pick up WP vandalism. In fact, the current WP version appears to have had a few stray vandal edits get past the revert process. I will place the article on my "to do" list and will give it a very thorough proofreading. Just since I posted the above, the folks at Wikipedia semi-protected the Steinbeck article so that now only registered users may edit it. This seems to have stopped the rampant vandalism. I will update the CZ version manually with any significant improvements as they may occur on WP. This is easier than constantly checking for stray vandal edits, for it is not known how long the protection of the WP version will last. James F. Perry 15:09, 8 January 2007 (CST)
