Talk:Michael Polanyi
Is there any reason that this article is called Polanyi instead of Michael Polanyi, as per the normal CZ naming conventions? Ie, he is generally known by his last name only, the way some movie people such as Capucine are primarily known by a single name? If not, the article should be "Move"d to a new article called Michael Polanyi. Hayford Peirce 14:09, 21 September 2007 (CDT)
Moved it. Chris, welcome again and thanks for the article! --Larry Sanger 19:04, 21 September 2007 (CDT)
Chris, if this article came from Wikipedia, and anyone else contributed to this version of it, then we have to credit WP by checking the "Content is from Wikipedia?" box. (I've done so.) On the other hand, if you are solely responsible for the text here, then you can say so at the top of this talk page (see this help page), and uncheck the box. Note that, when checking or unchecking the box, you have to make some other little edit to get the edit (just adding a space at the end of any paragraph will do it) to "take." --Larry Sanger 19:11, 21 September 2007 (CDT)
I spotted the "Michael" problem, but was not sure how to change it! The text is taken from his Wikipedia entry (an entry to which I contributed) and so in the first draft I ticked the "Content from Wikipedia" box. In the subsequent drafts I refined the text, and so did not tick the box. I understand now that if any content from the Wikipedia entry remains, the above mentioned box should be ticked - which is fair enough. Thank you both for your help.
