The previously existing stub is unsuitable in several respects to serve as the lede for this article, and I propose to replace it. Nick Gardner 10:59, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
List
is currently at United Kingdom/Catalogs/Kings and Queens. Peter Jackson 09:19, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Prince (?) Harry
Not yet clear whether he's still going to be using the title. Peter Jackson (talk) 14:04, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
Comments on new titles
These are breaking precedents in at least 2 repects:
- Prince Edward has been created D of E for life only. Common for baronies under the Life Peerages Act 1958, but has it ever been done for higher peerages?
- Despite this, his son seems to have been authorized to use his secondary title(s?) as if he were heir apparent (I'm not quite sure whether that covers Forfar as well as Wessex, but I've put it in the article for now).

I'd forgotten that the heir apparent is given the title of Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester for life only. Peter Jackson (talk) 06:21, 14 March 2023 (CDT)
