It's rather awkward to have separate articles for unicast and multicast, at least at the basic addressing level. Unfortunately, not having a true mechanism for short free-standing definitions, I don't know how else to do this.
The example of anycast that I used is correct, but the implementation anycast is sufficiently non-obvious that I will need to illustrate it with a number of examples.
Multicast groups, especially when they extend over multiple physical media, also may need considerable explanation.
There just isn't much to say about unicasting. Can anyone think of anything to add? Howard C. Berkowitz 00:09, 5 August 2008 (CDT)
