A non-SI unit of pressure (symbol: torr) with ratio of 760 to 1 atmosphere, selected to be approximately equal to the fluid pressure exerted by 1 millimeter of mercury (symbol: mmHg) and thus 1 torr ≈ 1 mmHg.
