I am a mining engineer that has spent the better part of my professional life developing and adopting Information Technology for the improvement of the mining industry. Working predominantly in underground mining I have had the opportunity of leading groups of developers who have developed technologies including robotics, RFID tracking, ventilation optimization systems and advanced visualization software and turnkey installations. I am currently the president of Objectivity (www.objectivity.ca) a consultancy focusing on the commercialization of optimization and financial evaluation technologies for the mining industry.
