I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (5/1977) with a B.S.E.E.

I've worked for the Department of Defense (Defense Logisics Agency) for 6 years in Software Quality Asurance; for Grumman Aircraft Systems (now Northrup-Grumman) for 5 years as a Software Engineer; for Telesciences for 4 years in Network Communications/Telecom; and at various positions as a Software Consultant for Oxford International (6 years); plus stints at ITT, Bloomberg, DRS, and L-3 Communications, as Senior Systems Engineer, Programmer, Principal Engineer (Architect) and Senior Staff positions respectively. Much of my work has been in avionics, automated testing, satellite & space applications, networks, financial, and military/defense related.

Favorite languages include C/C++/ADA/Java/Common Lisp and Perl.

I also donate computer time and participate in BOINC projects (SETI@Home, Einstein@Home, Rosetta@Home, and MilkyWay@Home).
