Kris Herbst is Director of Online Community for Ashoka's Changemakers.net initiative. He has been webmaster and contributing editor since Changemakers.net was launched in the spring of 1998. Prior to working for Ashoka, he had been developing Web sites and working throughout the world as a Washington-based freelance journalist and television news producer. He has Masters in City and Regional Planning from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.[1]
