I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy at St. Mary's University, in San Antonio, Texas.
My undergraduate degree was a B.A. in philosophy from University of St. Thomas, in Houston, Texas. I did graduate work at Northwestern University and at the University of Houston before going to Rice, where I earned my Ph.D.
Here at St. Mary's, I teach courses in Logic, Ethics, Ancient Philosophy, Hellenistic Philosophy, and Medieval Philosophy. Within the area of ethics, I have taught courses in Engineering Ethics, Professional Ethics, Computer Ethics, and Moral Theory. I have also taught Renaissance Philosophy for the Innsbruck study-abroad program sponsored by the St. Mary's School of Business.
