I basically am interested in Mathematics, Earth Sciences like Chemistry & Physics, and a growing interest in Economics, Environment & Politics. I believe that the internet is a powerful tool, and today's netizen can play a huge role in formulating & presenting public opinion. We can play a major part in changing the way other people think, and a major step forward is what is today called "Web 2.0". The internet is a storehouse of information, and this information has to be provided in a user-friendly way, in a conducive manner, which is useful to other people. It is our responsibilty to ensure that the internet is not misused, and this can only be done by policing user-generated content. With environmental & other major issues of concern in the forefront these days, I feel it is important to inform and educate other people about these issues & generate awareness, and I feel I can play a part in this.
