You may ask me to create a personal sandbox for you where you can try out writing articles. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. I think it will take me a while to see how my contributions could be useful. At the moment, I see that Magazines aren't subdivided -- literary magazines would be my specialty, and there isn't a suitable taxon, ahem, for them yet. Thank you for the welcoming.Zachary W. Bos 16:32, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

I'm thinking that literary magazines would fit nicely into the Media Workgroup and the Literature Workgroup. Once there are enough articles about them it would be easily possible to create a Magazines Subgroup which join the two together. I wouldn't worry too much about trying to fit into categories at the start, perhaps the best way is to simply choose a topic and start writing! There are three ways to begin an article. I would suggest starting with the easy way, and then moving on to the complete way once you have found your way around better. --Chris Key 16:44, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

There's a very brief article, just a so-called "Stub" about Analog Science Fiction and Fact, for which I've written over the years. I did a lot of work on the Wikipedia article on the same topic, but haven't bothered to do the same here, sigh. I see that it's been placed in the Literature Workgroup. As Chris says, don't worry about the taxonomy of whatever you're interested in writing about. Just get the article started and, if you yourself are unsure about where it should be classified, someone else will certainly come along fairly quickly and make some suggestions.
